Kristen

Kristen is a Master’s-level Counselling Student who brings a warm, person-centred approach to her work with clients. With six years of experience as an educator, she understands the importance of building trust, fostering curiosity, and creating a safe space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported. Kristen’s practice is supervised by Cory Donald, Registered Psychologist.

Kristen works with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and personal growth. She integrates evidence-based strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and strengths-based interventions to help clients develop practical coping tools, enhance self-awareness, and live in alignment with their values.

Outside of her counselling work, Kristen enjoys hiking, playing volleyball and pickleball, weight training, running, and spending time in nature. She treasures moments with family and friends and believes that meaningful connection and time outdoors are powerful sources of healing and balance. Kristen sees individual teen and adult clients.

As a Student Counsellor, Kristen is still in the process of completing the requirements of her graduate studies in Counselling Psychology. Her practice is supervised by Cory Donald, Registered Psychologist.

FORWARD’s fees for service from a Student Counsellor are $40 per 50 minute session and a sliding scale is available.
