Victoria Cobuz is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who enjoys hiking, camping, yoga, and soaking up the sunshine - especially near water! She values quality time with loved ones and believes in the healing power of movement and nature.
Victoria works with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She creates a non-judgemental space where clients feel seen, heard, and safe to explore their experiences with curiosity and compassion. Victoria utilizes mindfulness strategies and humour to help clients find grounding and perspective. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals working through emotional regulation, healing from early life experiences, living in alignment with their values, and women’s empowerment and wellness. Victoria’s flexible, person-centered approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic Experiencing to best suit each client’s unique needs. Sessions are offered in person, by video or phone call, and outdoors on the move.
Victoria possesses a broad mental health background, including providing trauma-informed care for marginalized communities and survivors of gender-based violence. Her collaborative work with Indigenous communities has strengthened her ability to honour diverse worldviews and build trust and resilience. She draws on her experience teaching social-emotional skills to help clients build confidence, self-awareness, and meaningful relationships. Her psychological assessment and research background further informs her evidence-based approach to promoting healing and growth.
